ABOUT HENNA
Henna, also known as mehndi, is the art of applying a natural dye paste to the skin in beautiful patterns and designs. Originating in India, this body art is intended to stain the skin, leaving behind beautiful tones of orange to deep red for brides on their wedding day. Henna has since become more popular for a variety of occasions: parties, festivals, birthdays, weddings, formal events, and just for fun!
Note: It is strongly recommended to get your mehndi applied 2 to 3 days before which ever occasion you are attending.

AFTER-CARE ROUTINE
WEEK 1
-
Do not touch your eyes with your hands or materials (ex. hats, eye masks, etc.). Make sure you wash your hands before you do any after care.
-
Once you get home, clean your eye area with a fragrance-free and gentle cleanser and warm water. Pat dry with a clean cloth.
-
Next, apply a very thin layer of aloe gel and let it sit and absorb into the skin for at least 5 minutes before applying a thin layer of the polysporin ointment. If needed, use a Q-tip and be careful.
-
After a few hours, once the ointment has been absorbed, feel free to use the moisturizer on top of the treated area.
-
Repeat this after care procedure 2-3 times a day for the first week.
-
It is okay to shower, however keep your eyelids out of the water for long periods of time. Pat dry once you are finished and repeat after care routine.
-
Remember: do not scratch or pick your eyelids. This will pull out the pigment. Let the liner flake off on its own, and soothe itchiness by applying more moisturizer.
WEEK 2
-
Continue to wash your hands before you perform the after care routine.
-
Again, use a gentle, fragrance-free cleanser to wash your face and eye area. Pat dry with a clean, dry cloth.
-
Moisturize your eye area 2-3 times daily for the rest of the week. You should have finished your aloe and polysporin treatment. Now your enhanced area needs to stay moisturized to heal properly.
