Henna, also known as mehndi, is the art of applying a natural dye paste to the skin in beautiful patterns and designs. Originating in India, this body art is intended to stain the skin, leaving behind beautiful tones of orange to deep red for brides on their wedding day. Henna has since become more popular for a variety of occasions: parties, festivals, birthdays, weddings, formal events, and just for fun!
Note: It is strongly recommended to get your mehndi applied 2 to 3 days before which ever occasion you are attending.

Cancellation Policy
Kyra does Beauty's goal is to provide quality care in a timely manner. In order to do so, Kyra does Beauty has had to implement an appointment cancellation policy. Appointments are in high demand, and your early cancellation will give another person the opportunity access to timely care. This policy allows us to better utilize available appointments for our clients.
At the time of booking your appointment you will be required to pay a $100 deposit (for initial appointments) or 50% deposit (for follow-ups/touch-ups) that will be credited towards your treatment(s). Time had specifically been reserved for your appointment and the salon is booked and payed for in advance specifically for you. Once your booking has been confirmed by Kyra, please send an e-transfer to kyradoesbeauty@gmail.com to confirm your booking.
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment you must call or message at least 72 hours (3 days) prior to your appointment and your deposit will either be refunded or pushed for a future appointment. However, providing less than 72 hours notice will forfeit your deposit.
If you arrive more than 20 minutes after your appointment, it is considered a no-show and your deposit will be forfeited, and act as the cancellation fee. We are happy to discuss any questions regarding this cancellation policy.
By booking an appointment, you hereby acknowledge that you have completely read and fully understand the above Cancellation Policy. You agree to forfeit your deposit in the event of a missed appointment, late 20+ minutes, or cancellation within 3 days of your appointment.

Touching Up Other Artist's Work
Please note, no one is allowed with you during your appointment. The salon is a relatively small space and having your friends/family may cause the artist distractions. Unless absolutely necessary, no one else will be permitted in the salon room. Please discuss before hand with Kyra if accommodations are requried.
Your deposit secures your appointment spot. Kyra must book and pay for the salon in advance so a deposit is crucial to ensure she is not at a loss if you miss your appointment.
Kyra does Beauty accepts cash or e-transfer to kyradoesbeauty@gmail.com. To use credit card, Kyra does Beauty would have to implement a 4% service charge to accept online credit card payments. If this is preferred for you, please let Kyra know in advance.
Kyra will do her best to provide her skillful service to you. However, there are instances where the previous permanent make up is simply too dark to go over. Previous permanent make up must be very faded to get the best results. If your previous permanent makeup is too dark, you may be recommended to get laser tattoo removal before any future treatments with Kyra does Beauty.
